5. Window Configuration Choices: Bow windows generally come with 4, 5, or 6 lites. How many lites you choose will depend upon how wide the entire window will be and the look you want to achieve. Wide openings would call for more lites.

7. Exterior Color and Foil Laminate Choices: Soft-Lite offers 14 standard exterior colors and four exterior foil laminates to help you completely color coordinate the exterior of your home. If you still can’t match the color you want, we provide an unlimited custom color matching system. (Our exterior foil laminates are not available in all window models.)


8. Water Leakage Protection: Soft-Lite’s engineers have designed an exclusive welded sill pan into the bottom of our bow windows. The unique design of this sill pan eliminates water penetration into the interior of the window. It also has a built in weep system to help guide water away from the window.


9. Energy Efficient Insulation: Our insulated seat board sets Soft-Lite’s bow windows apart from the rest. Its design combines a Super Seat™ Dow® Foam 3” thick sandwich with 3/4” exterior capped plywood. This combination provides maximum thermal protection with an R-9 performance rating.


10. No-Sag Support System: Soft-Lite bow windows are supported by threaded steel rods and a chain bracing system that mounts right into the frame of your home. This support system provides sag-free support. (In homes where there isn’t enough room for the cable, knee brackets must be used.)
