The Sustained Excellence award is the highest honor bestowed by the ENERGY STAR program. It honors an elite group of companies who’ve committed to protecting public health through energy efficiency. Demonstrating corporate commitment, award recipients of the Sustained Excellence award must have achieved the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year award a minimum of two consecutive years and have gone above and beyond the criteria needed to qualify for recognition. This distinction is only issued when a Partner of the Year recipient has demonstrated exceptional leadership across multiple components of the program on a sustained basis. SoftLite has been recognized with this honor every year since 2014.

Energy-Efficient Windows

SoftLite is dedicated to providing the most energy-efficient windows available, and most of our product lines are recognized as ENERGY STAR “Most Efficient Products.” SoftLite windows are precision-engineered with weather barriers that minimize air infiltration, premium vinyl frames that block heat and withstand the elements, and Low-E glass coatings that help block UV rays.   Furthermore, polyurethane foam-filled frames and sashes help provide additional insulation, and high-end triple weatherstripping creates a perfect fit for a tighter seal that blocks air leakage. Plus, our double- and triple-pane windows are equipped with argon or krypton gas between the pains. These harmless gases further improve insulation and are odorless in case the glass cracks.

To meet ENERGY STAR requirements, our windows are rigorously tested and must meet minimum performance criteria to qualify for the ENERGY STAR label. The insulating properties of the entire window determine whether or not a window can be ENERGY STAR labeled. In addition, we belong to the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC), an independent non-profit organization that establishes objective window, door, and skylight energy performance ratings.
