Job Description
  • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
  • Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test and make adjustments
  • Mechanic skills including, but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals, schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Complies with OSHA safety, quality, and machine specifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
 
Requirements
  • Prompt attendance and the ability to work schedule as required
  • Safely and proficiently perform maintenance related activities of equipment, buildings and grounds. Assist to diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns
  • Suggest and implement improvements of existing equipment and/or designs to improve safety, quality, delivery and productivity
  • Assist in designing, fabricating, and welding of mechanical structures, guards and special equipment as required. Attend training to learn techniques for maintenance of new and existing equipment
  • Perform safe and effective operation of all equipment needed to perform job function
  • Assists with rigging, lifting and relocating a variety of complex, heavy machines, equipment and components
  • Ability to work independently.

  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, process, and procedures
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies

Position Summary

The primary objective of the recruiter/HR generalist role is to provide full-cycle recruiting to transition from temp-to-hire into direct placement hiring strategy.

Our ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience. Position will assist with HR generalist responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and create methods and techniques to source and recruit candidates
  • Leads and manages the full-life-cycle recruitment and hiring process across the company
  • Leverage recruiting resources and tools to identify candidates
  • Create and implement recruiting processes and structure
  • Anticipate openings and establish a pipeline of candidates to reduce vacancy percentage. Partner with hiring managers to proactively identify candidates
  • Prioritize open positions, post, and maintain available openings
  • Oversee onboarding process
  • Plan and attend career fairs and recruiting events
  • Prepare statistical reports to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with generalist-level responsibilities; employee relations, policy guidance, and employee engagement initiatives/events.
  • Assume additional responsibilities and special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in recruiting, talent management, and/or human resources
  • Demonstrated recruiting experience, familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to screening and recruitment 
  • Experience recruiting for a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with the complete Microsoft suite, including Excel
  • Demonstrated HR and onboarding knowledge
  • Ability to plan, organize and execute projects towards completion
  • Highly productive and detail oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. This includes spending time on the production floor.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Experience: Previous customer service required

First shift – 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Job Description:
• Customer relations, phone work, quote/order processing, data entry, credit requests, and filing
• Facilitate requests from customers and sales managers for pricing, sales aids, and other needs.
• Must learn quality and safety procedures
• Work with other departments to ensure smooth transition of orders to final shipment, includes follow-up with all parties to ensure information is processed to customer satisfaction
• Troubleshooting of product service issues
• Other additional tasks as requested

Requirements:
• Positive demeanor, excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task, knowledge of Microsoft Office
